Top feeder for Langstroth Hive (and Dadant)
This feeder has 2 compartments enabling you to feed syrup and fondant at the same time. Both compartments can be used for either type of feed as there are rubber plugs supplied with the feeder. The compartments can take 4 and 3kg of syrup.
Low budget solution for top feeding. Sun exposure will break this plastic down over time. Keeping it out of direct sunlight will preserve its life.
Essential for Spring and autumn feeding.

Fits well in my Anel hive and the largest section can be filled with syrup using the vent hole in the in the roof so no need to disturb the bees. Very useful if you want to feed fondant at the same time but if bees escape when the fondant is low or used up they can drown in the syrup. Plenty of knock-outs if you just want to feed fondant ( rubber bungs supplied to return to syrup). Good service from Gwenyn Gruffydd Ltd as is usual.

Just what I have been looking for. Easy to clean and also a good fit on hive. I have ordered 2 more hives but unfortunately the feeders are out of stock so will have to order them later.
