Beehive Wood Stain and Protect - Chestnut

Looking much like the rich red nutty brown found on conkers from our childhood. A shade straight from the country or a noble chestnut mare, it looks excellent on beehives.

Although this is a very traditional colour this wood stain is water repellent and creates an anti mould protective coating. The solution is water based, low odour and can be easily applied and cleaned up. Wood Stain and Protect can also be used to colour polystyrene beehives

This top quality garden paint waterproofs, nourishes and protects all types of external timber and paint is made in Somerset.

The superior formulation of this product allows it to be applied to polystyrene beehives too.

Features:
• Protective Coating
• Easy to Apply + Low Odour
• Pet, Bee + Plant Friendly
• Multi Purpose
• Water Repellent
• Mould Resistant
• Masonry + Terracotta Pots
• Easy Water Clean Up
• Light, Fast, Quick Drying

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 8-12m² per coat

Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. Paint the exterior of the beehive only.

Protek stain and protect

Really fast delivery and superbly packaged to prevent damage and spills. The colour, chestnut looks purple in the tin, but after the second coat really is a gorgeous chestnut colour, used it on my new cedar wood national hive for the first time so can't say how it will weather.
Superb customer service, which seems to be a rare thing these days. Will definitely shop with you again. Thank you.
